Hi, I’m Ricardo, a Senior Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in full stack development. After discovering coding during a pivotal moment of my career while I was studying Optometry, I realized that my true calling was in tech. The potential to make a meaningful impact at scale through technology is what excites me most about software engineering. Whether it's developing healthcare applications that improve health outcomes or creating tools that enhance productivity and efficiency, I am passionate about using my skills to drive innovation and bring positive change.
Over the years, I have honed my skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, Django, and REST frameworks, working on diverse projects in startup environments that range from building scalable web applications to optimizing system performance. Currently, I’m particularly fascinated by the innovation around AI, and how it can be used to further enhance solutions across all sectors. When I’m not coding, you can find me hiking the beautiful trails around the Pacific Northwest or on the hunt for the best local food spots.
